My Xbox is networked via hardwire to a 4 port router which is then networked between Vista Laptop and an XP Laptop. They are networked via a WORKGROUP. I can see both Laptops on my XBOX.. A Default password and username is set which is the same on both laptops... All Vista Shared Files and Folders can be seen and accessed however my XP Files and Folders cant.. As it keeps asking for a Username and Password...
I have tried adding source and entering username and password seperate but to no avail... Any ideas anyone???
Thanks all in advance...why it happens i dont know why but just create another account on the XP machine like Xbox password network and give that user permissions to see the shared files and use that login and pass, its got something to do with permissions#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
