ReCaptcha integration

  • Does vBulletin support ReCAPTCHA integration right out of the box, assuming that I already have a ReCAPTCHA key for my domain? I saw that you guys use it on these forums, and after reading some complaints about vBulletin's anti-spam measures, I was wondering whether you have the option to integrate with ReCAPTCHA or whether you need to do that manually.

    If it is not supported by default, is there an addon that is easy to install and configure or do I need to manually modify all of the code?

  • vBulletin.com is a stock install of vBulletin 3.7 RC4. Didn't you have to enter a reCaptcha to sign up?


  • ReCAPTCHA will be an out of box feature when vBulletin 3.7.0 Gold is released (hopefully this week).

    Many people are already using the 3.7.0 Release Candidate if you really wouldn't want to wait though :)
