Set up for dual processor system
March 12th, 2010I'll be transferring over from a 1 processor Win 2000 system.
Anything in particular I need to watch for?
========================================
GENERAL CONFIG:
Server: Dual Xeon 2.8 GHz
HDD's: 73 GB SCSI x2
RAM: ECC Registered 4096 MB RAM
OS: Windows Server 2003
NOTES:
1 - Installed the OS and webroot on the first drive
2 - installed mySQL on the second drive
The only words of warning for you that I have is that PHP can be difficult to set up on Windows 2003 in ISAPI mode, and to start searching on Google when you run into problems.

no differences in terms of what the you have to do to transfer vB forum/database between servers as outlined at http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/moving_servers regardless of how many cpus it has :)
