Remote for Nikon

  • I just bought a Nikon ML-L3 IR Remote Control Transmitter for my Nikon D70s and i was wondering how do i use it? When i push the button on the remote, nothing happans....any ideas what i should do to make it work ?

    I've not tried this, but have you set the shooting mode on the camera ? Hold down the button next to the one labeled 'BRK' - it's got three overlapping rectangles on it (right next to the viewfinder). Hold that down and use the thumb wheel that also controls the shutter speed (above the CF card slot).

    This cycles through single shot -> multiple -> timer -> timer / remote -> single / remote. Choose one of the last two, depending on what you need !
