Believer saying why he loves God. Come on in Atheists.?

March 21st, 2010
  • Because He is a twisted monster that burns people in hell forever, when He knows everything from before the foundation of the world. I'm so proud of this and want to share with all. He creates certain people He knows will not accept Him and then tortures them forever. Gosh, lets set back and listen to how it's really OK. It's all out of love you know! Yes, I do believe in God and Jesus 100% in case you ask.

  • Extra crispy, please!

  • gosh darn it i was forced to burn in hell for being created as a non beleiver , if only i were as lucky as thee

  • I don't understand what your point is.

  • Man, you need to take a course in communication because you do not make sense. What is your question? Sheesh....get your thoughts in a straight line.

  • You got your doctrine all wrong...go back and read it again.

  • I don't believe in a God that sends or allows people to spend in an eternity in Hell. I believe in a merciful, forgiving and just God. My views of God are independent of the Bible. I believe in God, not religion.

  • Here's one possible resolution.

God granted you free will. The reason it is possible for you to accept God is that He exists outside of time. He could go back to the past and write your name in if you truly accepted Him.

  • Since you ask no question, really I will reply with a simple, "Classic". Have a nice day.

  • Anyone for froot loops?

  • I come here for the comedy and fundies do it best.

Thank YOU! for making me point and laugh at you.

  • nice monologue.
    and your question is, please?

  • I think the problem is the sales pitch that religion uses to promote God and promote becoming closer to God.

If God is so wonderful then why does religion need the "stick" called Hell to make people want to go to the "carrot" called Heaven? God is wonderful. But you can't make people believe as you do.

Regardless of what you believe, preach, or think... Faith is a matter of choice. We choose what to believe and when those beliefs differ from the beliefs of other then people want to make a conflict out of it. A person must choose to go with God or to go away from God. Just because that person does not follow your idea of the correct path to God does not mean he is on the wrong path to God.

I have found that knowledge of God alone is empty. Knowledge of God without experience actually encourages the resentment of religion. I need experiences to go with the knowledge of God I have been given. This helps me to believe in God. My experiences will differ from others and as such so will my beliefs in God. But you have to accept that I and everyone else must choose.

  • Yes we know all that from reading the Bible. What's the question?

  • Believers have never been taught to question. So, like pathetic little sheep, they do what they are told. Just think how many people participated in the Holocaust because they were told to.

It's GOOD to question, people! Don't ever stop!

  • Skeptics often complain that God set Adam and Eve (and us) up to fail.

However, God had to give Adam and Eve (and us) a choice. Without free will to choose, Adam and Eve would have been mere puppets.

True love always requires choice. God wanted Adam and Eve to choose to love and trust Him.

The only way to give this choice would have been to command something that was not allowed.

    God Bless You

  • It is just supersticious if you believe it or not

  • Umm....did you ask this question just because you wanted to see the reaction from atheists? It looks like it expecially with the 'come on in atheists' part.

i'm not an atheist by the way.
